24th January - The Royal Oak, Chipping Sodbury, Glos.

There were (1) cheers in the air tonight. Or was it (2) tears. Although mostly (3) beers. Yes, I'm quite please with that.

(1)
A good rockin' night with the usual splendid reception from the crowd, including dancing, singing, shaking of hands and awe.

(2)
This was Leaky's final gig with the band before his departure to a different country. Surrey. And believe me, it is the hardest word. After a brief speech and the presentation of a beautiful commemorative picture he carried on, holding back the tears until the end.

It's a pub you slappywags!!!

18th January - The Farmhouse Inn, Yate, S. Glos.

A new venue jam packed full of young people. Some almost as old as thirty'ish. Luckily the band, with it's combined age of 453 years old, were not swayed and put on their normal legendary performance and stole the hearts, souls, virtues and wallets of everyone looking in the other direction. They also noticed a romance in the air for two regulars but can't say anymore. Yet. Mwa wa wa!!!!!!!!!!

12th January - The Bristol Inn, Clevedon, N. Somerset

Great fun night out for all. Apparently the last band to play were a duo, a laptop computer and some cheesed off punters. Never mind, we can't all be as fantastic as the Goldfish. Plenty of the usual clapping and attractive ladies dancing and singing. Will it ever end? Apparently.

4th January - The Old Tavern, Stapleton, Bristol

The band have traditionally kicked off their new years gig schedule at The Old Tavern and plenty turned out to feel the noise. Special thanks to Eddie Hitler from Bottom on making an appearance and performing a fine dance to Ace Of Spades.
